Which draft should be published?
Start with the actual audience and destination. Open the relevant asset in Rankfor Content generation or My Library, then inspect its generated content. Select the version your editor has approved for readers. Check product names, dates, claims and qualifications against current evidence. Add the original examples, screenshots or expert explanation needed to satisfy the article’s reader task.
Give a named reviewer responsibility for factual approval. Record the approved version and any changes that still require an expert. If the content contains a product comparison, a legal statement or a customer quotation, resolve its evidence and permissions before release. This editorial work is separate from how the text enters WordPress, and should remain visible in the publication record.
How do you move the content into the editor?
Use a manual handoff unless your organization has independently approved a specific integration. Copy the reviewed text and open Posts > Add New in WordPress, or edit the existing post if this work belongs at an established URL. The official block editor documentation describes the editor’s paragraph, heading, list and media blocks as well as draft and publishing controls.
Paste the content and inspect the result. Confirm that headings became headings, lists remained readable and quotations are clearly identified. Avoid a title repeated as a second top-level heading inside the body. Replace missing images with approved assets and useful alternative text. A theme or plugin can change available settings, so use your site’s established process for categories, featured images and metadata.
What should the editor check before release?
Read the article in its full page context, including navigation and supporting media. Verify internal links resolve to the intended public pages, citations open the supporting source and calls to action lead to the right destination. Remove staging URLs, private document links and notes intended for the editorial team.
Check mobile presentation, wide tables and captions so the reader can actually use the material.
For an illustrative update, a fictional service already has an export guide. The new draft explains a revised file limit. Update the existing guide and its visible change date where appropriate, preserving the established destination for that task. Google describes redirects and canonical annotations as signals for consolidating equivalent URLs in its canonicalization guidance. Choose a deliberate URL strategy before creating duplicates.
What confirms a successful publication?
Save the draft, review the site presentation and use WordPress’s publication control when the approved checks are complete. Open the public page afterward. Verify its final URL, title, visible body, links and images, then update the content record with the publication date and owner. A successful editor save is not a substitute for checking the actual page visitors receive.
A Rankfor Content Box is a separate publication surface. Send one only when it serves an approved distribution purpose, with its own reviewed asset selection. Do not automatically publish a duplicate “AI-only” version of every WordPress article. Google’s AI optimization guide says no special AI text file or special markup is required for its generative Search features.
